Quenched - 'Coco Serene' Lavender + Coconut

Ingredients: Distilled water, stearic acid, emulsifying wax, olive oil, hyaluronic acid, mango butter, shea butter, amla oil, carrot seed oil, argan oil, bakuchi oil, vitamin c extract, dandelion root extract, mugwort extract, beeswax, optiphen plus (preservative), All-natural fragrance.

Did you know hyaluronic acid is naturally found in nearly every tissue and fluid in our human bodies? 

It was first discovered in the eyes. Its purpose is to lubricate joints like knees and elbows. Oddly enough, you’ll also find H.A. in the bright red comb on top of a rooster’s head!

You can use it on your face, take it as a dietary supplement, or even have H.A. directly injected as a filler.  And because it’s found in synovial joints (which would be elbows and knees) people with stiff joints get H.A. joint injections!  Pretty interesting stuff, right?

Because we naturally produce hyaluronic acid, it is gentle enough for a wide variety of skin types. This is great news for those with acne-prone skin and breakouts- because it can also help to reduce the appearance of acne scars!

Hyaluronic acid also has an anti-aging effect because it helps restore dehydrated skin and adds plumpness back.

Because of this 'Quenched' moisturizer is gentle enough for even sensitive skin. You'll find a little dab will do you!  It absorbs quickly and will leave you feeling hydrated all day.

You'll also love the consistency. It feels like a soft whipped mousse... But please DO NOT EAT IT! =)

Directions for use: This formula works effectively on damp skin. Therefore, it is best used after a cleanser or shower. We've also noticed it makes an effective primer for any water based make up! You'll see better results if applied 1-2 times a day. Once in the morning and once at night after cleansing.

Being that Quenched contains now 15% Hyaluronic Acid - it will feel a cool to the touch like aloe! 

Research indicates that Hyaluronic acid is far more than a moisturizer; it is also a biologically effective material that can prevent the excessive skin inflammation caused in daily life, especially in the late stages after sunburn. Therefore, it's also amazing for Sunburns because it will rehydrate the area faster.

I had the idea for this lotion after several of my customers reached out and told me my "Hydrate Me!" Lotion was helping their sunburns. So, I figured I'll double the Hyaluronic acid, add some more healing oils- and make it twice as effective. 

As always, a little goes a very long way with this product, so it will most definitely last you 3-6 months if you are only using it primarily on your face even 2x per day! 

Usage: Apply as much or as little as you'd like to face, arms, legs, tummy (anywhere external). Hyaluronic acid lotion absorbs best when applied to damp or wet skin. (Note: if you find yourself feeling sticky- you are most likely using too much. My recipes contain far less water (about 40%- 50% less) than commercial lotions, it's highly concentrated and you get your money's worth!
